stayed here one night at the beginning of our trip and one night after. just down the street from the leaning tower. if you get a room facing the street on the top floor, there is a great view of the tower & duomo from the balcony. free wifi (ask for a wifi card at the front desk) and breakfast that included coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, cereal, rolls, pate & cheese-not a hot breakfast, but certainly enough to get you on your way.

Stayed here one night at the beginning and one night at the end our trip. Just down the street from the Leaning Tower. If you get a room on the top floor facing the street, you will have a great view of the Tower and Duomo from the balcony. Free wifi was great. Breakfast was included - not a hot breakfast, but certainly enough to start your day with - coffee/tea, rolls, pate, cheese, yogurt & cereal.
Would stay here again.

ok hotel close to the airport
The hotel is near the airport and offers a shuttle service (6 euros one-way vs about 15 euros for a taxi). Also, we enjoyed a nice seafood dinner in the restaurant.

we stayed only one night -- the last night in italy at the end of a 14-day vacation. we chose the hotel on the basis of its proximity to the airport. the room was okay... nothing special. of the 4 beds i slept on in italy, the one at this hotel was the most comfortable and offered the best night's sleep.
the bathroom was nice, but the shower was a bit odd, with a half-screen in the shower, and a shower head that was designed for looks rather than functionality. the result was that when either of us took a shower, as much water got on the walls and floor of the bathroom as went down the drain.
we ate one meal. on the night we were there, the two service staff in the restaurant were struggling to keep up with the number of customers they had. i don't know if someone had called in sick that night. it's hard to believe that they could struggle that way daily. the food was very tasty and fresh. we had a big seafood meal for 2 people
the staff was generally friendly, though we had limited interaction. we woke up in the middle of the night and found that the only water in the fridge was "gasse" so i went downstairs at 2:30 a.m. to ask for still water. the guy at reception happily went to the kitchen and got a large bottle of water for me. the wait staff in the restaurant, though obviously "in the weeds" made every effort to be friendly. one of the two of them spoke very limited english (and i speak no italian) so communication was, at times, a bit comical between us, but we managed, and we got all the food we wanted.
cleanliness was good -- nothing to complain about at all.
the area around the hotel doesn't seem to offer much of interest (though, to be fair, we didn't really try to explore). it's across the street from water, but it looked to be a bit of a commercial marina area with some warehouses or small factories around. i wouldn't think it's the hotel you'd want to use as a base for your holiday, but for 1 night it's ok.
Hotel Feature Tip:
the hotel shuttle service was useful for us to return to the airport after our stay at the hotel. if you are a single traveler or a couple, it's cheaper than a taxi. my sister used the same hotel on a different day and tried to use the shuttle to travel from airport to hotel, which she found frustrating, so i'm not sure if it works well in that direction.
