The Duomo Hotel is a Ron Arad-designed conceptual hotel located in the center of historic Rimini, just one kilometer from the beach. This 4-storey property features 43 guestrooms, all of which feature futuristic design. All rooms have desks with wireless internet access, LCD flat-screen television, direct-dial phones, complimentary newspapers and light dimmers. The NoMi Club is a Ron Arad-designed restaurant and bar constructed in the shape of an island with fjord-like dining coves of stainless steel. It serves a broad array of Italian wines and regional and international cuisine, and the atmosphere is enlivened by well-known local DJs in the evenings. In the summertime three glass roller shutters open up, providing access to a street terrace. The focal point of the lobby is the space-age reception desk, a stainless steel ring leaning on a column, with a series of aluminum rings embedded in the wall behind allowing daylight in and creating an unusual optical effect.
