the hotel is slightly high up but well within walking distance.
the room is great, clean and spacious. the wall is a bit thin thought so may hear noise from outside. but overall, it is a great place to stay!

Reggiomaggiore close to a small church.

the hotel was situated a 10 min walk from the railway station , through the tunnel an uphill. the site was ok for lodging. but the rooms were somewhat damp as nothing dried up during night in october, 25-28 c outside and sunshine. breakfast time was not according to agreed upon the evening before. breakfast was continental. no milk was served.
upon arrival the personnell asked us to pay in cash but they did not offer a 10% discount if you pay cash as other hotels in the italian region does. they never asked about our passports during our stay.

Take a walk up the hills!

Hotel essenziale ma accettabile
costo, posizione, camera spaziosa

le camere sono poche ma ben tenute. la posizione è ottimale perché nel centro del paese. Gli inconvenienti sono, come nel resto del borgo, l'impossibilità di accedervi con l'auto, la mancanza del servizio di ristorazione per la colazione (in ogni caso in paese e a distanza di pochi metri ci sono diversi bar) e la finiestra della camera che da su un muro.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
il borgo di Riomaggiore è assolutamente da visitare. oltre alla via dell'amore alla quale si accede facilmente dal centro del paese, vi sono la marina e alcuni scorci sul mare imperdibili.
