A breath of fresh air would be so much better

We stayed here for five nights in late October and we were generally satisfied with our stay. My only major complaint was the use of a very powerful perfumed room freshener which was quite objectionable, and which I objected to, unfortunately quite forcefully. Having said this the room itself was very large, spotlessly clean and very well located, close to all the major attractions, and with some very good restaurants close by. was extremely helpful especially when we found he spoke Spanish a language my companion speaks fluently. We only met once or twice and he was very polite.
The only improvement in the room would be one or two comfortable chairs to sit on, and though one does not need TV when visiting Rome, one or two English channels out of 400 would be a nice addition. We were both somewhat disappointed with breakfast which was sparse and could have been so much better with the addition of fresh rolls, cheese and meats etc. Having stayed at many, many B&B's and hotels during the past twenty years, this one was very good, though not great.
If you don't mind the smell of the air freshener, 2 Passi al Colosseo is a good, if not great place to stay in an ideal location. Pros; great location, size of room, cleanliness, Wi Fi. Cons; air freshener, breakfast, English TV and a somewhat unreliable elevator. (I had quite a scary ride one night when the elevator kept stopping between floors, and the last day when I was leaving. Make sure all the doors a tightly closed, before pressing the button)
