Location to station - easy access from the airport via the express train service - clean rooms, functional, and well serviced each day.
Expensive breakfasts on a room only basis - bathroom too small, especially shower unit, which was difficult to turn round in for a normal size person.
Shutting doors of shower broken.
We found the hotel reception friendly on arrival and very helpful. Room was small but functional for long weekend stay. Excellent cleaning of room each day, although as stated before the bathroom was small. Area the hotel is located in is quite shabby where the indian/chinese wholesalers are based selling anything from beads to sunglasses to shoes. Some really good cafes in the street, going towards the Termini, where coffee and coissants will set you back between 5-6 Euros which was perfectly adequate to start the day. However don't come to Rome expecting a cheap trip - you will need at least 100 euros a day on top of hotel to enjoy the sites and for food and drink. Our average evening meal worked out at around 60 euros for two, which included the house wine (bottles of wine other than the house wine started out from 16 euros upwards). However the food wherever you go is excellent, and both of us had a fabulous four days in Rome. To enjoy the wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere that pervades the whole city. The other point to note is that nearly everyone we came in contact with spoke some English, often very good, so we certainly scotched the impression we had been given that there was a language barrier in Rome - not so.
Restaurant Tip : Always go for the house wine. The cost of wine other than the house wine can leave you breathless compared with what we pay in most restaurants in the UK.

The hotel was nice and clean, we got our room alrady 11 o'clock, which was nice. The breakfast in the hotel was quite expensive. New bedsheets and towels every day. Good service.
