Location is good - Close to Colosseum and Metro terminal is literally outside the door A little dated - not a solid four-star hotel... Location is okay - Near some of the ancient city sights, but far away from Vatican City. However, the Metro stop is literally outside the hotel entrance...
The hotel itself is a little tired; could use a little sprucing up, especially if you are part of the under-40 crowd. Service is good; helpful concierge and friendly staff...
Overall, you get what you pay for...

Very comfortable and very near to the Metro station "Mazoni," about 10 metres away. This hotel is in the center of Rome, so very convenient to connect to the other interesting places. Very friendly and helpful support.

By car
From the Grande Raccordo Anulare take the Salaria exit in direction of the center and drive along via Salaria following the directions for the center of Roma. Take tangenziale est and exit toward EUR, San Giovanni; turn left onto circonvallazione Tiburtina, continue along viale Castrense, turn left onto via Nola, turn right onto via La Spezia. Continue along Largo Brindisi, turn right onto piazzale Appio, then continue along piazza Di Porta San Giovanni; turn right onto via Emanuele Filiberto.
By train
From the Termini railway station take a taxi or either the subway line A and exit Manzoni. The hotel is right in front of the subway station.
By airplane
From the Fiumicino airport you can take a taxi or use public transport: the train leaving the airport station takes you directly to Termini station. From here, take the subway line A and exit Manzoni. The hotel is right in front of the subway station.
