Good location

this hotel is located at the comercial center of rome. it's very convenient to go outside to every touring area and shopping. the hotel is clean. but the room is small. especially for our three people at the tripal room modified from the twin room. the hotel is in the old historic building.

Shopping Tip: there are a lot of all kinds of top brand shops around the street.you can get everything in evening shopping after the day sight seeing

modern hotel and best location

it's along via del corso, the main shopping street. it has a perfect location in the "middle" to the west is the vatican and to the southeast are the roman ruins

the location is great, as i said, right in the middle of the shopping district, with a lot of cafe's along the streets. We took the train to get to the vatican and took a leisurely 15 minute walk back to the hotel. The roman ruins were also a 20 min walk from the hotel, but along the way, you still se a lot of rome so the whole walk is like a tour as well. The only complain i would have would be about the cleanliness, When we arrived, the pillow was dirty, it had a lot of dirt and hair fuzz, and when we called housekeeping to say that the pillow was dirty, what we got was a heavy italian accent saying "room was just cleaned, it is not dirty". i had to insist for housekeeping to come to my room and SEE the hair fuzz and dirt on our pillows. then the maid proceeded to just wipe it off with her hands. (ewww) and we had to insist that she get us a new pillow case. our stay in between was perfect, breakfast was decent, wifi was fast, room was clean. then when we were checking out and fixing our luggage at the ground floor, an old italian guy was shouting the whole way down the stairs(i thought he was senile because he was rambling on so much) until he god to us and started shouting at us that "this is a home! this is not a hotel! pay for a real hotel! this is a home! STUPID TOURISTS!" i dont know if the upper floors are apartments or what, but we were there not bothering anyone. the management of the Class HOTEL should do something about this. The class hotel is not cheap, and to be insulted as if we were skimping and staying in their home and being such a burden is not right.
