Crowne Plaza St. Peter Hotel is near the historic city center, with such attractions as St Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel, and Vatican City. The hotel offers a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the city center and Fiumicino Airport (at a charge). After a day of sightseeing, guests may take advantage of the hotel’s excellent facilities including the luxurious St Peter’s Spa, outdoor and indoor pools, gym, and tennis courts. There is also a well-equipped conference center with 13 meeting rooms. The hotel’s Papillon restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes as well as international cuisine while the Lumière bar is where guests can sip drinks to the sound of live piano. Crowne Plaza St. Peter Hotel offers elegantly furnished rooms and suites, all of which have satellite TV and Internet access.

I did not have much option because the workshop I was attending was organized in this venue. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and spacious but nothing extraordinary. The location was not that excellent. I had to take a bus to reach the nearby metro station. The closest metro station was the second last stop on Line A and was in the middle of no where. The ticket for metro was readily available at the reception. The shuttle bus was also available from the hotel to Vatican and city centre for 1 Euro only for almost every hour from 9 am to 7 pm. Because of the location, I will not probably stay in this hotel unless another workshop is organized. I have tried dinner and lunch at restaurant and in my room. It was nothing special and I would suggest that you go out if you have a chance. It looks like a lot of hotel guests were using spa but I did not have time to enjoy the facility.
