Cosy hotel in small street
Walking distance to major shopping area such as Via Condotti and Via del Corso

Room is nice and comfortable, but street could be noisy especially in the late nights and mornings when cleaning trucks drive through. Also due to 90-degree sharp turn of the street near the hotel, cars usually have to make a reverse before turning into the side road. Hence you can hear the reverse warning beeps of the cars which can be quite loud. Will need to keep windows closed in order to get a sound sleep.
Shopping Tip:
Big brands along Via Condotti and a lot of shops along Via del Corso are all within walking distance.

we stay here every time we are in Rome, just ask for a courtyard room rather than in the front, it can get noisy

Good place to stay in Rome situated few steps from the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. Nice and confortable room. They should improve the breakfast though as the quality is very poor.

Directions
If you are arriving in Rome from the North, take the "via Salaria" exit; follow directions for the "Centro"; once you have passed Porta Pinciana, take via Veneto and follow it as far as Piazza Barberini. Then take via del Tritone to the first traffic light and turn right into via Due Macelli. Near Piazza Mignanelli, turn right and proceed straight on for approximately 200 metres: you have arrived.
If you are arriving in Rome from the South, take the "Roma Sud" exit and then take via Tiburtina towards Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. Keep straight on until Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, then head for Santa Maria Maggiore and follow via Panisperna. Turn on to Via Milano and go straight on until you come to Traforo Umberto I, after which you must continue straight on down Via Due Macelli before turning left onto Via Propaganda at Piazza Mignanelli. Follow Via Propaganda for approx. 200 metres and you have arrived at the Hotel.
