About 15 mins walk form the metro
The environment of the hotel is very special which locates in a church. Reception is helpful. Breakfast is acceptable. There is air con in the room. If you do not mind to have a 15 mins walk from the metro, you should take this hotel into yr consideration.

Friendly atmosphere of monasterial hotel. The building was inviting and had monasterial charm. It was wonderful to explore and imagine the life of its previous residents. The roof top allowed escape from being inside and gave a great view of the city of Rome, in particular at night after a day out. Service from the front desk was very helpful. We had a wondeful room with a circular window that overlooked the full length of the main street. Rooms were cleaned and tidied daily.
Needed to catch metro to reach city centre. Once the routine was achieved this was no major dramma as trains ran frequently. Breakfast food could be improved by including vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers to go with cold meats supplied.
Staff were very friendly and gave the time to answer any questions that we asked in relation to the history of the building and queries of where to meet our tour guides. On our first day we were told where to buy our metro ticket (at the newsagent across the road) which was not the norm for us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Our first experience was to use the bus. Unfortunately we took the bus that travelled in the opposite direction to that which we needed to go in. The bus driver asked us to alight. No one spoke English or very little to be able to guide us to our destination. It was not until a shop assisitant took time out to help us in her broken English that we realised that we had travelled in the opposite direction. At the service desk of the hotel they had warned us that the numbers of the buses are the same so becareful to go in the correct direction, but being unfamiliar with the area we took the wrong bus. We relied on the metro after that which was a little further but safer.
