Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great location but lousy internet connection
Location, good service (staff very attentive to one's needs)

We stayed there twice, before and after X-Mas 2012 and the hotel, being close to the Collosseum, the Imperial Forum and the Vittorio Manuele monument, presents several advantages. Taxis called by the reception desk arrive in no more than 3-4 minutes.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Collosseum, the Imperial Forum, the Vittorio Manuele monument, the Vatican Museums ... with the Sixtine Chapel, of course.

Well located and very friendly staff
Location, great view from the terrace, acess to several attractions (Roman Forum, Collosseum, etc)
7.7
Very good cost/benefit relationship. The rooms are quite cozy if somewhat small. Shower: typical European, not very strong water pressure. Very convenient to walk to some of Rome's major attractions and also easy access to taxis, subway, buses. Internet access not very stable. Costs E$ 10 each 24 hours which is way too expensive for the poor quality of the internet.
Restaurant Tip:
Costanza (Restaurant) just off Piazza Navona

Best Location next to the Roma Forum
5.7
A old Hotel with some flair, but pretty uncomfortable if you are travelling with young children. There is now water boiler in the room and you have to ask for hot water from the kitchen on the top floor all the time. The service from the kitchen was excellent and very friendly. The service from the receipten was very basic and pretty cold. I would not recommend this Hotel for Families with young children.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Next to the Roma Forum and a 5 mins walk to the Collosseum.

Great location but not so friendly staff
Location was really good. The rooftop bar and restaurant had good views. The rooms were confortable
6.7
we enjoyed being close to a lot of rome's main attractions and being relatively close to the metro, but the staff weren't overly polite. just because we are young doesn't mean we don't deserve to stay at a nice hotel like that.

Fantastic location and great old world charm
Location, location, location- very large family room- views from the fabulous rooftop bar
8.7
Stayed two nights in July- fabulous location, a short walk from the major attractions. Stayed in a very large family room- two inter-connnecting rooms with two bathrooms. We have 3 children and there was plenty of room. Rooms very nice with lovely proper wood furniture. Bathrooms by comparison a bit disappointing. The breakfast was in the restaurant with beautiful views over the city although the breakfast itself was reasonable rather than good. The roof top bar was fab- drinks are a bit pricey but definitely worth it and the barman is very nice.

a lovely city with amazing sights.the hotel is in a wonderful location overlooking the forum and about 50 yards from a great family run restaurant la taverna dei fori imperiali where we dined twice (book if you want a table)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a good pair of walking shoes.Although expensive, when visiting the Vatican take one of the guided tours,we took one from 'What A Life Tours' and it was excellent and well worth the money also saved on the queues.

Great location, but old rooms, no air conditioning
6.3
the hotel is at a great location, right next to the forum archiological site and within walking distance to the venetian plaza and colosseum. however, it's about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station, cavour. the hotel rooms are kinda old, and eventhough i didn't need it during my stay (early may), i've noticed there's no air conditioner, so probably not the best choice for travelers during the summer. the hotel does not have free internet or wifi access, eventhough it says free wifi in public area. the wifi charge is $10 for 24 hours and $7 for 12 hours.
