great hotel and nice location
the room is quite big for european standard and nearby rome termini station

the hotel is very nice and close to termini station (it was 5 minutes walking), so the access is very easy to go anywhere and it is located on the road where there are a lot of restaurants. the hotel itself represents a 4 star hotel, it has quite complete amenities, including refrigerator, safety box, water kettle (incl coffe and tea). the toilet has hairdryer and bidet (was great for me). the breakfast was awesome for european standard, the italian coffee is briliant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There a lot of things to see in Rome, rather than busy with public transportation, the easiest way is to take "hop on hop off bus" for the firsttimer, unless you really know where to go. We took the "green bus", the waiting for each stop was around 20 minutes. Don't forget to make a stop at Vatican and enter the Basilica, it is so worth seeing.

Good location but terrible service

They gave us a room as if they were doing us a favor and we ended up in a really small room which kind of had a single bed. When we complained about it the front desk was not helpful at all. I have stayed here before and in the future will not stay again at hotel Genova.

Very disappointing hotel, dream killer

1. For this price, it's not worth the money. Because our room charge is prepaid, we can only stayed for all the 4 nights. we are arranged to stay in the room faced to the main road with busy transportation days and nights, often feel like earthquake nearby in the nights（maybe because of trains）
1.就这个价位，这个酒店很不值得住， 我们住了四个晚上，因为一开始房费就预付了，没办法中途退房。我们被安排在靠近最靠近主路的房间里,日夜都有嘈杂的交通噪音，晚上还经常有地震般的震动（估计是火车）
2. Very rude reception staffs, even the complaints not useful to the manager on the day when we checked out, the mananer in the reception part just impatient to our complaints and suggestions.

Right in the center of everything

We stayed at this hotel for one night but were in another hotel for 5 days and we wished we would had stayed here from the very beginning of our trip. We were satisfied with the room we got; the room was spacious and somewhat modern. The shower space was a little small but in general our experience was good.
Restaurant Tip:
If you get tired of Italian food and want to try something different there is a southern Indian restaurant 100 meters from the hotel if you cross the street to your right. Prices are cheaper than any restaurant you will find around the hotel.

The location of the hotel was very good. The entrance of Termini train station is seen from the entrance of the hotel. I stayed there with my 10 years old son. We walked all around Rome from the hotel.

Good location, just few min walk from main station - Termini.

Some staff were very friendly and helpful, but some were rude and even could not speak English.
It was a little noisy.

My family and I loved our stay. The hotel staff were patient with our queries since its our first visit to Rome, we had lots of questions to ask about the surrounding area. Breakfast was average, the rest are pretty good.
Restaurant Tip:
When dining outside at the restaurants along the streets, be sure to have lots of small change/notes ready for tipping as buskers and musicians are always roaming around to conduct their performances when you are having your meal.

I have been staying in several hotels in Italy, this one is really worth paying approx. (for 3 persons) + city tax per day per person. The things I like about this place is the hotel wasn't constructed in a super old building, so it gives me a sense of modern and comfort. This hotel is undoubtedly a perfect location for commuting by train from other cities and by subway when traveling in Rome. However, complimentary welcome drink (2 bottles of water) would be nice for this price once arriving in the room of the hotel.
