A pleasant stay, though on the expensive end of hotels so I wasn't expecting anything less. Free shuttle service to Spanish Steps is good and punctual. Some reception staff could be friendlier. Overall recommended for a treat.

a very good location with no parking problems. quiet and comfortable rooms with very courteous staff. breakfast is very rich and well prepared with a big variety. garden and pools are very quaint. the fitness room is well equipped and the bathrooms are very clean and well equipped. shuttle service to the centre of town is convenient and very regular. very happy from the hotel

it was my first time to rome and stayed here based on other reviews. the hotel is good but i would not rate it as one of the best ever. the rooms are large but a bit dated. the bathrooms are clean which is good. but the best feature was the breakfast buffet. the hotel is away from the metro but buses and trams are out the front and the concierge was always very helpful in getting us to where we needed. all in all, a great first visit to rome, in large part thanks to the people at the aldrovandi villa borghese
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You can catch the tram straight to the Vatican. Makes it very easy to visit, whatever the time. It is also a short stroll to the Villa Borghese - a must visit place.
