Pleasant receptionists, clean and friendly atmosphere and a positive attention to detail make this a smart choice for Rome first-timers. If it's positive English-speaking reception you're after this place has them. From recommendations of what to do around town to directions to just about anywhere you want to go, if you're looking to explore the city you have a whole network of friends at the Aurelius the second you book in. Wake up, enjoy a nice breakfast, and head out for the day. The Vatican is easily manageable and near it most of Romes great sites and attractions are right at your finger tips. In the evenings, return back to the Aurelius for a clean room, nice shower area, and a safe and friendly atmosphere. And at the end of the day the Aurelius is modestly priced -not bad for a trip to the sometimes pricey Rome.

Great friendly staff (especially the evening concierge Alejandra) and so close to the Metro!! There were some guests who complained about the breakfast but my partner and I couldn't fault it...... This is not The Ritz or Raffles!!

Nice quiet (and safe) part of Rome. Easy access to Metro lines. Staff are so knowledgeable about Rome it's amazing! Especially Rennetta.
