Great location, lovely hotel, service with a smile

A few steps away from famous attractions

We stayed 3 nights, the staff was always ready and willing to help. Well located near bus station, direct bus from hotel's door to Vatican, to Termini, Coloseo. All other interest points in town are in walking distance. Plenty of good restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Verry clean rooms. Very good value for money. The only disadvantage, no access for dissabled people.

Mr. & Mrs.

Short walk to Spagna Steps - if you consider it as a good point.

From Vietnam, it was a shock to us first time getting to the hotel. It was about 21:00 and the hotel is ... deserted! we walk from the entrance (which doesn't loook like a hotel at all) to the 4th floor and down to the second floor withour meeting anybody. The reception is shared with another "hotel" on the second floor. The real Doge reception is working between 09:00 till 14:00 only. There's a tiny elavotor, but it's "hidden" and you would ignore it if you don't seach for it (in my case, the "receptionist" didn't even tell me about the elevator although I did ask for help with my lugguages) Actually, it's one floor of a residential house customized to become a "hotel". No air-con. Misterious corridors. Breakfast was a couple of cookies, bread and jam. However, you can have it served right in the room!

Excellent location, not so friendly staff

Best location if you want to stay in the fasion district, very close to the Spanish step.

We got the room 30 minutes before normal check in time so that was nice. Overall the staff wasn't that nice though. The breakfast was not worth paying for, so if not included, go out and have something better on the street! The rooms were alright by Italian standards, good pressure in the shower. Extremely thinn walls, you could hear everything the neightboors said, or did...

One very Helpful Receptionist..others disinterested

The Hotel is very well situated, accomodation adequate. However attention to detail & lack of courtesy in Breakfast room disappointing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Hop on Hop off Bus just nearby.

Don't judge hotel by stairwell

Location, clean, fresh bathroom sms good price for rome

I got a single room through agoda (othe wasr sites almost twice that price) and it was excellent value for rome. Awesome location right between trevi and spanish steps. We used 110 open bus to get around, if you're not in a rush it gets from Termini to trevi in about an hour and then you only havre to walk 2 minutes with your luggage to hotel. Bathrooms are quite new and spotless. Soap/shampoo provided. Breakfast fine with good coffee. Girls on reception lovely, the bloke was a bit curt abcs tried to get.gr to check out early even though agoda confirmation said 12. stairwell is shabby but that's not a problem for me.

Satisfied

Great location, good value for the price paid

the metro station is just a couple of blocks away from the hotel. piazza spagna is one block away, other attractions nearby: fontana di trevi, piazza del popolo, villa borghese, etc.the hotel is in a nice neighborhood, surrounded by designer clothing stores. i was happy with my choice, a good value for the price paid. the only thing i would recommend is to bring a towel with you, their towels are like bed sheets.

Great Friendly service, short walk to Trevi Fontana for the ladies

My girlfriend and i stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. excellent service and rooms with aircon. easy to get around.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: get up at the crack of dawn and head to the Trevi fountain and there will be nobody there. perfect for photos and personal space. catch the metro where ever possible or the hop on hop off buses. dont keep buying bottled water as u can fill them up at the fountains around the city, very fresh water. last of all eat as much gelati as possible! i love that stuff!!
