Breakfast would be better if some of the items were kept warm e.g., bacon and eggs were cold everyday. Travel tip: Make sure have good walking shoes.

Additionally, hotel is 10 minute walk from the Colosseum. If you enjoy walking you can walk to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain. The hotel's internet service in horrible in the rooms. You have to sit in the lobby to get a good connection and the TV in the rooms are very tiny. They do have a very nice breakfast in the morning

However the metro was just across the road and the area seemed pretty safe. Supermarkets and cafes located near to the hotel. Breakfast was so-so, I honestly wouldn't pay for it but if it is included in your package then it's ok. Room was clean and average looking. Tv did not have any English channels though. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Be careful of peddlers along the streets of Rome. They tend to try to rip you off.

Walking distance to Coloseum and Saint Giovanni Basilica. 8.7 My sister and I booked a double room but have been arranged to a twin room with bigger room size. The breakfast is excellant to european standard. Lots of cold cuts, hot plates with scambled eggs and bacons, cereals, breads, fruits, cakes, biscuits... Hotel itself is a 500 years old monument... can't really tell as it has been upgraded like a new building. Coffee from the machine is ordinary but drinkable. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Walking distance to Coloseum and Saint Giovanni Basilica. Buy Roma Pass to enter Coloesum, Palatino & Floro Romano (all 3 counted as one sight), plus one more museum/sight.

If walking is your thing, this hotel is around 20 mins to the Colosseum. Breakfast spread is pretty decent.
