Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

My wife and I stayed in the Morgana Hotel for 3 nights in February while in the city to watch the Italy v Ireland Rugby match. Even before we arrived at the hotel the staff were helpful and sent directions to the hotel from Termini Station via email, although we misinterpreted their instruction slightly wrong and ended up doing a lap around the station. We soon realised though that you simply go out the ‘GIOLITTI’ exit, cross the road, take the first street of the left and it is then on the street on the next left. Not even a 10-minute walk.
The location is probably the hotels greatest selling point as it is close to everything. A 15-20 minute walk will take you to the main tourist hotspots and we never had to take a taxi or tram once during our stay, yet covered most of the sites. Even the walk to the stadium was only about 45-50mins.
As for the hotel itself, it is very clean and has a certain character about it. A quick read in the visitors book will show that all nationalities use the hotel and there were very few negative comments.
The only major negatives we had were around the size of the room. Lets just say it only took the cleaner 30 seconds to hoover the small patch of carpet in the room. We maybe struck it unlucky, but our double room would not even be classed as a single in some hotels. The smallest, most uncomfortable bed, that you could only get into from one side, as it was jammed up against the wall on the other side. There was one tiny wardrobe hid away in a corner that was about 4ft tall, which we didn’t even try to use.
Saying all that, I am of the opinion that we don’t go away to spend all our time in the hotel room and we were rarely in it. If we had of wanted to do that and have a larger room, we would have spent our money in a more expensive hotel.
