In a quiet estate just outside the city center, the Novotel Roma La Rustica provides modern accommodation suitable for executives and/or those with children in tow. As is Novotel policy, children can bunk in their parents' room free of charge, their meals are free and they also have the use of a games room and PS2. A complimentary shuttle bus brings guests to and from Roma Termini a few times a day making transit to the city hassle-free, while La Rustica metro stop is close, as is the expressway to the city center. A 24-hour cafe, wifi access and a pool increase the appeal of this four-star property.
Please note that all guest bookings with the period of stay from 1 January 2011 onwards must pay a city tax of 3 Euros per person per night directly to the hotel during the check-out for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. Please be kindly informed that this is an additional charge and is not included in the room fee. Confortable clean room in a real four star hotel
affordable price in advance booking, clean room with large bed, shuttle bus to Termini station

The stay was reserved 90 days advance, the price was 80 eur/night + cíty tax.
To get there was a real adventure. From Termini station take the subway to Tiburtina railway station. Then take the regional train to Lu Rustica UIR. Then you have to walk 200 meters on a dirty walkway and an additional 200 meters on a road (without walkway). We got a fourstar stay for a three star fee. The sceduled shuttle is avaible at 9 in the morning to Termini on weekdays and also at 10.30 on saturdays and sundays. The ideal return from Termini to Novotel at 20.30 every day. The shuttle fee cost 4 euros /pers.

the room was nice and big, but only recommended for car owners. the local is remote and even the train station does not seem like a common one. any area 200meters outside the hotel is very dark, some with no lights. the wifi in the hotel can be weak in some rooms, we had to change room for this.
