Not all rooms have view on the Vatican.
Agoda should suplly better info and Internet costs € 25,--
per day

disappointed with the mess up that happened
not as great as my first visit here

asked the hotel to change my reservation and was given the ok but had to clear it with agoda and i did that and was given the ok by both and at the last minute was told that i could not change my reservation and my original booking was not even given to me correctly. if you book a rome view room make sure that its not on the 3rd floor couse you will end up paying the extra for a tree view room. What a way to end your vacation with such a disappointment.

Very nice overall. The only thing that was disappointing for me was the spa. It is apparently award winning. I have been to six spas in a range of locations this year - every single one of them had better amenities such as snacks and beverages, toiletries for guests to use that I am shocked that they are considered a superior spa. The treatment in any event was lovely.

Luxury Hotel but incredibly expensive!

Without doubt this is a luxury hotel, where your every need can and will be met by the very attentive, professional staff particularly Doormen and Concierge team. The Spa is one of the best I have experienced in the World and I am very well travelled. The ambience in the very large lobby bar is so very relaxing and refined. The large comfortable lounge chairs and the beautiful paintings on displays really create an absolute feeling of finery and luxury. The presentation of afternoon tea, cocktails and coffee was always more than expected. The restaurant on the lower floor is incredible. The waiters level of service was flawless and I had one of the most wonderful meals with my family, made even more enjoyable by their clear enjoyment of my childrens presence without this ever become obtrusive in anyway. The meals was also fantastic but the level of service was by far the best experience of eating in this restaurant. Overall our hotel stay was so very enjoyable and comfortable with everything being done to a very high standard as one would expect of a top class hotel. My only suggestion for improvement would be that breakfast needs improving as the hot food was often cold and always running out and the room service dinner we order which came to approx £200 for 6 of us was quite frankly cold and when I raised this with them on arrival they did not seem to appreciate this was so and kept reassuring me that the plate underneath would keep the food hot and well this was not the case. I would strongly recommend that breakfast is eaten out and room service is not taken as both will be dissapointing in comparison to the rest of the hotel experiences.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you have children then a must do is the Gladiator experience but dont have this in the hotel, go to the actual Gladiator Training centre in Rome - this is an amazing experience. My children are still talking about it!

Perfect hotel with a great location overseeing Rome ; any request will be attended with great efficiency and a smile ; after a long day visiting Rome you can enjoy the swimming pools and the spa before retiring in your beautifull room and seeing Rome with all its lights and monuments . When living this hotel you will wonder when you could come back again

They do have a shuttle bus to the city centre. This is very good because taxis in Rome can be very expensive. The rooms are comfortable and their bathrooms are large and nice. It's nice to come back to a cozy room after a long day in Rome
