It did the job
Well located for what we wanted.

The hotel was a fairly standard hotel of the city type.
I was disappointed that the room was too hot and the air conditioing was not working requiring the window open at all times in the room.

Very well placed hotel for exploring Rome. Clean large bedroom. Free WiFi in the lobby only!
Surely in this day and age a four star hotel should off er wifi,free, throughout the hotel.
Helpful staff apart from checking out where atthough they had all my paperwork, the guy at reception behaved as if he had never heard of Agoda and kept me waiting several minutes whilst he called for the assistance of other staff,no apology was made.
Breakfast is taken in a rather dark sombre windowless room,its OK so long as you avoid the scrambled eggs?? and the coffee from the large help yourself silver urn. Not to my taste!

established hotel, good staff. english spoken. very comfortable room. gym too (although a little basic for such a large hotel). internet wifi supplied free in the lobby, but signal was quite week (?)
Restaurant Tip:
food was a slight shock in rome (it wasn't as good, generally, as i thought it would be)! however, some restaurants are gems. there's one nearby to the hotel (can't remember the name) - it's the most modern looking in the area (white, black and red decor, and quite large) and the food here was simply sensational. great gelato nearby too.

The location is excellent , near the main station , staff where kind , room was cold no heater , no free wifi , and the breakfast was so poor

They upgraded our room to highest floor 17th which we really appreciate! Maybe due to our honeymoon. The room itself looks quite old including bathroom. The room also separated from the living room. It has also those old smell everytime we enter the room which is unpleasant but bearable. Breakfast was just ok. Same menu everytime. Distance to station arnd 10-15 mins walk which is not bad. Plenty of restaurant nearby too. N the street is quite but feel safe. Wifi available on the lobby .Overall it was an ok stay :)
Travel tip:
If u bring big luggage make sure find nearer hotel from station. Go to pisa if u got time. Its worth it. No need to spend a whole day there. Half day is enough . Its a cool building
