Great stay in Rome, absolute perfect location

Had a great stay at Stendhal, the rooms are small, but in Rome you don't care about that cause you are rarely in your room. Great restaurants everywhere. Superb location, you can walk to every well known sight.

In the downtown, closer to metro station and bus station.
For key sightseeing areas, it is quite close to them.
Room is not large, but quite clean and tidy.
Breakfast is simple.

I can't fault this hotel. It is a boutique hotel in a great location for tourists. The service is impeccable. This is the cleanest hotel I have ever encountered in Europe. The breakfast is above average and their cocktail time is a nice little touch. Next time I am in Rome I will not stay anywhere other than the Stendhal.

This hotel is very well located. It is evenly spaced between the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia and the Spanish stairs, two stops from Roma Termini on the Metrorail, and opposite the road from many cosy eateries and gelato counters.
The hotel itself is cosy and very comfortable. The staff are it's true asset though. They are extremely helpful and professional.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
On one of your free evenings, make your way down to Trastavere, to the restaurants by the central chapel/church. We enjoyed the best calzone we have ever eaten here! Thereafter, stop for an ice cream and slowly wonder past the street vendors on your way back to the hotel. It'll take about 25 minutes to walk back to the hotel, otherwise go back on the Metrorail.

Great hotel cant wait for my next time in Rome
the location is probebly the best there is in rome....price is more then reasonable

had a great 4 days stay at this comfotarble 4 stars hotel, enjoyed every moment.
the location couldnt be better, you dont need any public transportaion for must of the city attractions.
the rooms are a bit small but very nice and elegant and the breakfast is great.
the staff is very friendly and relaxing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
take your time, there are a lot of things to see and a lot of time too, you can start at 7am and finish at 11pm....no rush must attractions can be visited at late hours and resturants are open all day and night long

great location but not worth the money

The location of the hotel was good as it was 2 min away from trevi fountain station but not worth the money I thought. The room was really small and the hotel and rooms looked much better in the photos and website. I stayed in 6 different hotels while travelling Italy and this wasn't surely a favourite.

Nice place to stay and Katie is amazing
close to the metro, pizza around the corner, all roads lead to anywhere in Rome

We were two sisters staying for a few days, and liked our stay very much, especially the radio in the room (we could listen to the Vatican Radio, which amused us a little bit). We liked breakfast (great jams!) and the room is immaculately done up every morning (thank you Katie) and we could walk mostly ANYWHERE in Rome! How nice. Service was always quick and efficient. My sister Mimi was very pleased and insists on staying there again soon!
Restaurant Tip:
The pizza place to the right of the alley is better than the first one you see!!!!!
