The room style is ancient style, such as the furniture, the windows, etc. The environment is not ideal, because I could hear the talk sound and other noise in the neighbouring room. The breakfast is just so so.

Groups United States of America, September 08, 2012	Well maintained older hotel with inept night staff Beautuful historical hotel, regular staff was excellent 7.3 hotel turner is an excellently maintained historical hotel with beautiful marble fixtures, fabric wall coverings, and hard wood floors. the location isn't fabulous & we had to take cabs regularly to get to historical sites but it was only €10-15 for the 4 of us so it was worth it to save the walking for the sites. there is a metro station not far but hard to find. the regular hotel staff (i.e. day staff) was great - professional & helpful. the night staff, however, were a joke. we had to check out at 6:00 a.m. and all in our group had issues with extra charges & the staff couldn't find my reservation at all & demanded that i pay in full again (even though i had a prepaid voucher & had been there for 4 days). i finally used my mobile app for my chase credit card & showed them the paid charge from 2 months before checking in & just left so i could make my flight. unbelievably inept staff at checkout. the rooms are beautiful but extremely small. i couldn't open the shower door and get into the shower if the bathroom door was shut. note to travelers: the hotel information says free wifi & they give you a login & password but all 4 in my group were regularly unable to login. when we inquired with the hotel we just kept getting told that the internet was not working & to try later. very frustrating! Restaurant Tip: Pomodoro Rosso is just steps from the hotel entrance & had a wonderful menu with a very gracious staff.

Directions
From the highways, get on the Grande Raccordo Anulare (Rome's ring road) and take exit 8 "Via Salaria-Parioli" or, from Roma-L'Aquila A24, take exit 14, and follow directions for the center "Piazza Fiume" and/or "Corso Italia".
You can also take exit 11 "Nomentana centro". Travel the whole length of Via Nomentana, until Porta Pia, where at number 29 you will find Hotel Turner.
