This recently renovated hotel in the trendy Prati district, just a few minutes from the Spanish Steps and the Vatican, offers fantastic service and style. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many historic monuments. The Visconti Palace Hotel in Rome is decorated with sophisticated modern style. The large, contemporary rooms have floor to ceiling windows, immaculate bathrooms, flat screen TVs with satellite channels and high speed internet access. The hotel has many family friendly services and policies, and serves an excellent breakfast. The roof top terrace offers wonderful views over the city.

Inside the hotel is immaculate and comfortable. Service is quick and courteous

The hotel needs to extend the superior quality of the aesthetics inside to the outside as well. The facade and "grounds" could be better kept.

We really enjoyed our three nights at the Visconti Palace. Our 5th floor room was ultra clean and comfortable,and more spacious than we anticipated. The bathroom was also clean, spacious and had nice amenities. One slight complaint about breakfast, which is served in elegant fashion in a large dining room, is that they might include an egg option as added protein, to counter all the sweets and starches.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to just about everything you want to see, particularly the Vatican. It is also close to three stops on the Metro.
