Excellent hotel, greta location
very helpful and pleasant staff, close to major tourist interests but quiet at night, generous breakfasts

First visit to Rome and although I thought the charges for a single room were on the heafty side, I had a very memorable stay thanks in no small way to the comfort of this hotel and the friendly staff. Since I walked everywhere, at one point I needed scissors and some band aids. Both were provided by the front desk.
One downside though, coffee at 5 euros on the roof garden was a bit steep and stopped me from visiting there more frequently than once
Travel tip:
No need to book a bus tour. Everything is within easy ( staggered) walking distances. You can then absorb the sights you want at your own speed and leisure.

the place is semi new. part of the room is new. part is not so new. but the room was ok. a bit small.
it was a clean place.
staff was ok.
about 7 minutes from the spanish stairs. just cross the bridge and you are in the right area.
breakfast was great. a lot of options.

We were very pleased with this hotel, it was a good location for getting around to both ends of town, easy walking to the river. The staff were helpful, especially as we didn't speak Italian. The breakfast was high quality with plenty of variety, the coffee was superb even though it was simply filtered.

Good hotel convenient to direct airport bua
Easy access from airport via 40 min direct bus, dining & shops & atms near, not far from many tourist sites, clean quiet hotel & area.

Most staff attentive & friendly, clean stylish reception & bar areas, fitness room decent, rooftop bar not quite as scenic or stylsh or welcoming as photos depict (not sure how to get served up there, seemed desolate tho stylish lamps, & view mostly of surrounding buildings & antennas. Staff very helpul providing transportation suggetions by email, & recommending place for dinner. Price excellent compared to others with similar amenities when booked with discount rate on Agoda.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Only 5 min from Castel St Angelo, very scenic, & 15 from Vatican. 5 min from river which has promenades both sides & makes a nice easy way to navigate to many areas. Pedestrian street between hotel & Vatican has many sidewalk cafes.

the location is a bit too far from my expectation from the map. it's not too far from vatican but it's quite far from the subway, i think. the room is quite good, but not super clean as in the photos. however, the breakfast is the best in my trip comparing to other 2 hotels which are firenze mariotte and mistre hilton. bacon is super, don't miss it!

3-stars hotel around Piazza Cavour

Visconti Palace is located around 10 mins walk from Piazza Cavour, ideally for a starting point if you are travel with public bus. Forget about the Metro because it takes 20 mins there.
Hotel is quite old, it meets 3-stars standard. Breakfast may be the best thing I've found. They provide a plenty of fruit selections.
Choose this hotel only if you get the cheap rate.

Very well located hotel, helpful staff, reasonable sized room. Bathroom has drying line which is handy if you are staying for a few days. The hotel offers a tourist information station and will organise any tour requested. We did the Pompeii trip, which although was a very long day, was well worth it.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Breakfast is fabulous and the service faultless. This hotel is very well run and has been modernised to a high standard. Staff are efficient and very helpful with good english spoken.

This hotel is on a good location near vatican city, both the vatican and Castello dell angelo are in walking distance. to reach the historic city centre it's a nice one hour walk, taxi about euro and the metro is almost around the corner. The patio is a big plus, you can sit outside for a drink or a bite, although the prices are mutch higher as compared to the small restaurants just around the corner. The staff is friendly and helpfull, checking in and out was very fast and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
