Antille Hotel provides quality accommodation for travelers on a small budget. The location in the town of Dolo on the outskirts of Venice is quiet and tranquil and gives guests the chance to experience genuine Italian hospitality. There are numerous public transport links within walking distance giving access to the heart and historic sights of Venice easily. With 47 rooms spread over 4 floors the hotel has six different types of rooms available and is able to cater to singles and also large groups. Clean and comfortable rooms are equipped with satellite TV, mini bar and have bathrooms decorated in artistic mosaics.

Clean, relatively spacious, courteous desk staff, we had the opportunity to see the suburbs of Venice and not just the touristy section along the canal, good pizza just across the street, felt safe in the neighborhood While bus transport to the main attractions of Venice are relatively easy to access, you will spend a significant amount of time commuting to the tourist areas. Keep this in mind if that is your main interest and allow yourself the extra time for commuting. We enjoyed our stay in Dolo very much because we had the opportunity to see more of the \"real life\" of Italy. The room was clean and spacious and had a private balcony. The staff was courteous and helpful. It can be scary booking a room online and not knowing what you will get- especially when you are going for one of the cheaper hotels. These modest accomodations are just right for the money. The only downside is that you will need to allow time to get to the bus station- approx 1 mile from the hotel and then take the bus to Venice-proper to see the attractions. If you have more time than money, and don't mind a bit of walking- this hotel is a great option!
Restaurant Tip : Several coffe shops nearby. The pizza place across the street is very good and stays open late.

Clean rooms and good size. Air-conditioning worked well. We only found one restaurant open to eat at on a Wednesday night. It was much farther from Venice (24 km) than we thought. We searched for a Venice hotel and this hotel came up. A walk of about 1.5 miles with all of the suitcases after an hour bus ride from the airport was too much after the long flight.

Simple and clean hotel with decent sized rooms. Hard to find, poor breakfast Simple but comfortable hotel outside of Venice. A little difficulty finding the hotel because we thought it was closer to Venice than it did in reality. The breakfast offered was good but pretty meager. As the hotel was located in a small community so it was difficult to find restaurants for lunch and dinner. Pleasant and helpful staff.
