A five-minute walk from Santa Lucia railway station, this two-star property allows budget travelers to stay in the center of Venice. Close enough to the train station to easily walk the distance even with luggage, the Atlantide Hotel allows quick access to the sights whether by boat or on foot � the Rialto Bridge about a 15-minute walk away and a Vaporetto stop within steps. Rooms are compact and cozy � all with private ensuite and courtesy kit � and breakfast onsite exceeds two-star standards with made-to-order scrambled eggs added to the usual spread of pastries and deli items. In the twisty streets that surround the hotel, guests will find plenty of little shops, caf�s and restaurants without having to wander too far � even St Mark�s Square is only 25 minutes away on foot and well worth the effort.

Good location, only 2mins walk from the train station. We stayed at the 3rd floor, a family room although my booking is a double room. Room is clean and tidy. Toilets are newly renovated, thumb up!
I had a nightmare after seeing the scary pictures hanged in front of the double bed. Room is rather dark, recommend for additional lights to brighten the room. Furniture are rather old.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : No fastfood- Macdonald in Venice. Boat ride is expensive. Venice is accessible by foot. 1day stay to see Venice is sufficient. Roads are small and narrow, lucky the signage is clearly indicated.

very close to the train station and boat stops, and cheap resto/fastfoods; new bathrooms, quiet aircon.
small rooms, old furnitures at the corridor.
A few movements can improve the common areas.I suggest removing the big old couch and the fridge from the corridor. They are too big for that little space. replacing them with, say, two tables from the breakkfast area can decrowd that small room. Conceal that room containing those extra beds, etc. visible from the staircase. A curtain will do. It is the first thing that the guest sees. It does not give a good impression. The vending machine can replace the fridge at the lobby. The fridge can go to the stockroom where the extra beds are.
Restaurant Tip : Try the fastfood close to the hotel. Dining out can be costly in venice - it is a good alternative for lunch.
