b&b casa d'oro is the best place and price to stay in venice.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a pizza resto near the hotel called pietro if im not wrong.
The pizza is delicious. Very recomended.

was very friendly, as was his wife. Clean and large rooms. Buses are close by. Make sure you catch bus 19. We stayed late autumn so the heating was great and hot water plentiful.

bus stations within minutes walk distance. owner provide very useful information on where to go, where to buy, and where to dine. owner also hlep to pick you up from point to point. room was tidy and clean, and everything handy. it was a wonderful stay in his b&b hotel.

Great location due to great bus link, large rooms.
Good location only 10kms from Venice and directly on a public bus route number 19 at a cost 2.60 Euros return.

Location was in the suburbs but with a local bus every 15mins it was easy to go to Venice from the B&B every day.
Nice big room plenty of space, but the bath towels were small, very well worn, smelly due to not being fully dried and never changed over the three days we were there.
Breakfast was not that good, budget bread, lack of bread, lack of sugar sachets, lack of dishes. No appearance or help from owners, they were nowhere to be seen. One needed to do ones own dishes.
The owners live on site but were never about so difficult to get help or advice etc. and minimal service provided by owners.
Shared bathroom was a bit of a nuisance as was always someone in it and the shower was not the best, lack of hot water.
Hotel Feature Tip:
This was a B&B in an ordinary home in the suburbs, 10kms from the International Airport and then another 10kms from Venice, so handy only in as much as it is on the local bus route to and from these two locations, other than that it has not much else that stands out to encourage one back to that abode.

It's located some 25 minutes bus ride away from Venice island at a very lovely and quiet neighbourhood at Favaro.
We arranged for the host to pick us up from the airport at a reasonable price. Upon arrival, he gave a detail orientation of the neighbourhood (from where to eat, shop to the bus service) and places to visit in Venice island. With the tips in hand, we had no problem at all finding our way to Venice island and back.
Initially we were given a room with 2 separate single beds. But the host quickly apologized for the mistake and changed us to a double room with attached bathroom and fridge the 2nd night onwards! He even left some breakfast for us in the room
Restaurant Tip:
Do eat at Piero down the road. The pasta was really good and price is much cheaper as compared to Venice island.

We had a nice, quiet evening in our comfortable hotel the night before our early flight out of Venice. The shower was great, and we liked the wide array of breakfast foods provided for us. We most especially appreciated the willingness of our host to provide transport to the airport very early in the morning. for a very reasonable cost.
