Enjoyable and relaxing
Old design, high timber cielings and nice staff.

The only negatives were the shower was cold in the mornings and only warm in the evenings; the bathroom however was a good size and a big shower unlike most hotels. Room wasn't very well lit but nice old style; brick walls and high rustic timber ceiling.

very pleasant stay. a bit far to walk from train station with large luggage (25minutes)especially as you have to cross many canals with brdges/stairs. Private taxi's are a rip off. There is public transport (water bus) that is more reasonable. Enquire about days ticket instead of per trip....

the rooms were spacious and very clean. we were very pleased with the conditions of the room. it was an excellent value for the money we spent. breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options. the hotel staff was very friendly.
the only drawback is the location of the hotel. it is a good 30 min walk away from the railway station. there is an option of taking the water taxi. however, if you prefer peace and quiet, then this hotel is recommended.
we would definitely stay at this hotel upon the next visit too.

Very Nice Hotel in a Somewhat Remote Location

i liked the hotel itself. the rooms were spacious and also kept warm. the hotel is located in a charming, residential neighborhood in venice. the biggest problem is that the hotel is very hard to find, as it is not correctly identified on google maps and the hotel's own directions on its website are very inadequate.
