Pretty room and great location

We stayed in the new hotel building which is around the corner from the original. The location was great and only a few minutes walk to St Marks square and plenty of shops. The room was nice and large. The included breakfast was good with your typical European selection of cold meats, bread, croissants, yogurt, cereal, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good hotel in an excellent location

You have to carry your luggage everywhere in Venice on paths and over canal bridges so location is very important. This is perfect, a short walk from San Marco and Rialto Bridge, and also San Zaccharia boat station (for airport boat transfers). It is also just off the beaten track to avoid high season tourist hordes.

good location, poor rooms

This hotel is located 5-10 minutes walk from Terminus station (the train station), and the location was convenient for us...but that's where its virtues end. The room was EXTREMELY small for a 4-star hotel. In fact, we have no idea how this hotel got 4 stars. There was barely even space for our suitcases around the bed. Also, the staff were NOT helpful at all, and waited until the LAST possible minute to let us know we couldn't extend our booking, even though we asked several times, with more than 8 hours ahead of time. This hotel was a terrible deal for the money, overall. If you are looking for a decent value room in Rome in the $100-200 range, try one of the guest houses. The rooms are a much better value and the staff is much more friendly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
This hotel is near the train station, which is a fairly popular (and convenient) area for tourists to stay.

Convenient location, big and clean room

Had a pleasant stay in this hotel.
I have booked Annex room, which is 50meters away from the main building, however they have upgraded me to a very big room in the main building, with a lovely Venetian style interior room.
The rooms were very clean and big, and the bath room was very big as a well. In comparison to other hotels in Venice, it was a very generous sized room.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing as to include the american breakfast (with egg and bacon and sausage), it costs you extra charges.
Overall, a value for money hotel, as it is very hard to find a hotel with this standard in this price range.
Restaurant Tip:
A lot of good and reasonably priced restaurants near the hotel.
You will walk pass when you walk from the nearest water bus stand to the hotel.

Great hotel in good location, but tricky to find

The hotel itself was very nice (four star after all). The room was a little small, but this was to be expected since we paid so little for it. The hotel was very close to St Mark's Square, but a little hard to find due to Venice's confusing layout - not really the hotel's fault though! My only real complaint is that the double bed was formed of two separate mattresses, which made it a bit uncomfortable.
Hotel Feature Tip:
It took us a while to find the hotel. My tip would be to head to St Mark's Square (which is signposted from everywhere in the city) first, then work from there as it's only a few streets away.

the hotel is nice and clean, room is quite spacious and i am a single traveler who carries a lot of baggages - luckily they have room on the first floor so save me a lot of hassle. location of the hotel is very convenient, around 5~7 mins walk to the st. mark basilica and duge's palace.

Das Hotel im typischem venezianischen Stil ist circa 5 Gehminuten vom Place San Marco entfernt gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber, vielleicht ein wenig kitschig.
Der Service war top, das Frühstück ausreichend. Insgesamt rundum zufrieden und nur zu empfehlen. Preise waren jedoch schon sehr och, aber die Lage rechtfertigt dies.

朝食はおかずによっては(例えば、ベーコンとかスクランブルエッグ、ソーセージ）お金を別にとられる可能性があります。多分私が泊まった部屋に問題があったのだと思いますが、この季節（11月）にも関わらず部屋が異常な暑さで就寝中もずっと窓を開けずには居られませんでした。ベニスのホテルはもともと古い建物が多いため、どこかしら問題があるのかもしれませんが、部屋に入ったときにまずは電気、トイレ、壁の様子などをチェックした方がよいかもしれません。
