Hotel in city center, about 1,5 km to Piazza Bra. Clean, good service, nice rooms. Aircondition is not working to well, I didn't need it because it was in november.

We stay just one night on a quick business trip. The hotel seems to be in a good location. room is spacious and toilet is big. The restaurant in the hotel was good.

Reasonable hotel , rooms good but poor amenities.
Good location and acceptable walking distance to city center.

The staff were helfull and attentive, the room was generally satisfactory but poor in amenities, dated TV that did not work.
It is very unlikely that we would return to the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay as the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Also the location was good as it is very close to the train station and not too far from the main attractions in Verona. The room was also very clean and comfortable.

very nice older hote, needs to be up graded. breakfast was very good. bed was very hard and not very comfortable. location was great for us,but is kind of out of the way for seeing the town. would not stay there again.

Great location rooms need renovation

Standard rooms are small and they wanted a large amount to upgrade to slightly bigger room - which they finally gave us. In need of renovation - badly marked carpets and walls in all 4 rooms we saw. No room to open modern suitcases.
Large glass front captures hot afternoon sun and staff would leave front doors open so bar and reception areas very hot. But a gentle walk into town and shuttle provided for Arena evening.
Restaurant food and service was excellent both nights we ate there.

Poor location and poor service

I just went to Verona and stayed at the B4 Verona Leon d'oro Hotel. While the hotel looks quite ugly from the outside it is somewhat nicer indoors.
Having specifically asked for a non smoking room I was surprised to get a room that smelled like an ashtray. It was really unpleasant to enter the room. We were also unlucky to have a room that had a view on an electricity plant.
Although the rooms were not cheap at all (more expensive than a comparable room in Venice), it seemed that all services were being charged extra. I soft boil egg request cost me 2 EUR during breakfast. A short return trip to town (Arena) during the operas would cost you 8 EUR per person. Or walk 10 minutes!!!
All in all I was disappointed with this hotel and would not go back there. I chose it because of its proximity to the train station which was accommodating our traveling schedules.

fair enough location when the hotels in the old city centre are full or too expensive, or when you want more space. it is located right outside the city centre but within walking distance. the service is good and personnel nice. breakfast buffet was very nice with a lot of choice.
