Just 15 minutes from Riga old town by tram, this affordably priced hotel provides great value to travelers.There is a tram stop directly in front of the hotel that runs to Riga old town and its wide range of restaurants, shops and bars, while the Etnographic open-air museum, the Riga zoo and Arena Riga are all less than one kilometer away.The hotel is just 100 meters from the National Library and the Riga National Opera, while Riga Riga Harbour is just two kilometers away and the Kipsala Exhibition Complex just four kilometers.The rooftop bar has a great reputation for live Jazz bands and has comfortable loungers enabling a relaxed setting and is highly recommended, as too is the afternoon buffet. Travelers are also advised it’s cheaper to buy tram tickets from a news kiosk than on the trams, with the one price covering one continuous journey irrespective of the distance traveled.

The whole stay experience was great. Very fast check in (even if we came quite late), the room was very good for the price with a huge bed and big bathroom (with bath). If your purpose of the trip is business, the location is prime as it is in the main street. If you go to Riga for pleasure, then be ready to take public transport/taxi (although it's not too pricey). The breakfast has a wide timetable (from 7:00 till 11:00) which allows you to be more flexible in the morning.
Shopping Tip : try going to the alfa shopping mall, not too far from the hotel by trolley/bus.
