The Cravat is a good hotel for a short stay. It is well situated in the heart of the city and allows easy access to the old part of town and major shopping and dining areas. Comfort is rather basic for a Four Stars hotel, and the room was a little run down, although the bathroom had been renovated. Rooms facing the street may get a little noisy. Very good a varied breakfast menu. Internet access is expensive and guests should prefer other available networks such as Hotcity which offer packages at half the price.

internet access is overpriced, do access the hotcity site at half price!

Try Grand Hotel Cravat for a Grand Holiday

Our stay in Luxembourg was enhanced by our choice of the Hotel Grand Cravat. It was easy to find, had wonderful views and everything was in walking distance to have days filled with new discoveries.
The Grund is spectacular and can be viewed from just across the road from the hotel. There is a beautiful church just behind the hotel and we were able to walk to and from the railway station in about a 15 minute walk. Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold food and there were so many restaurants just a few steps outside the door. The staff were always polite and helpful and our room was spotlessly clean.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We really enjoyed looking through the Museum of History and the Arts in Luxembourg. It has 10 floors which can be accessed by elevators or stairs and shows amazing material from the Roman times to contemporary artists. The top two floors exhibit art work while the remainder records the history of Luxembourg.

The hotel is an old-fashioned European style hotel with class and charm, but not for the ones who prefer modern minimalistic design. The furniture is outdated, but bathrooms are modern and rooms received a fresh coat of painting not too long ago, so it looks and is clean. Some rooms are small, others large, all depends on your luck at check-in and mostly on the price you pay. Some rooms have beautiful city and valley views. Good central location both for business travelers and tourists.

3人で予約したのに、部屋にはタオルが二人分しかセットされていない。
部屋が狭く、は高すぎる。
チェックアウト時にの決済ができないので、全額支払うよう要求された。電話代こちら持ちでagodaに電話してようやく解決した。うっかりすると二重に料金を支払わされた可能性がある。

部屋のベランダから憲法広場やアドルフ橋が眺められました。
レンタカーの旅で、ホテルの裏通りに有料駐車場があり、バッゲージの持ち運びにも
短距離でよかったです。

ロケーションは最高。窓から渓谷が一望。旧市内の入り口。ホテル前が交通の要。

ルクセンブルグの旧市街の入り口にあり、旧市街の賑やかを十分にあじあえます．観光バス等の出発地もホテル前にあり新市街、旧市街とも乗り降り自由で移動できます。もちろん ホテル設備は満足です。
