The Corinthia hotel has maintained the flavour of the past, despite the modern facilities that have been added to the building over the years.
Considering quality/price it is a great hotel to experience a 5-star treatment and enjoy the use of a great pool, for a sun bath, or the gym.
In addition to this, the Corinthia restaurant has delighted us for 2 nights with astonishing dishes and even tasteful pasta!
You can quickly go to Valletta or Mdina by bus in 10 minutes and discovers the jewels of Malta, while enjoying the quietness of the hotel in the evening.
Restaurant Tip : The Asian restaurant of the hotel is good but not excellent, whereas the Corinthia Room Restaurant is just great.
Suggest to get half board, as there are not many restaurants in the surroundings.

The welcome, service, availability and attention of staff. Décor, comfortable rooms, balcony overlooking garden. The quiet rooms in the piano bar, swimming pool and its environment. The spa with free access to Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym as well as opening times extensive. The sumptuous restaurant. The environment of the hotel with beautiful gardens of San Anton.
The only downside: The very prepossessing contact, dry and cold from one of receptionists (speaking French) The free internet access in the rooms would be a plus.
It was a delightful stay that I would have extended to this hotel full of character that I much prefer those to the coast where the environment is too overrated. The layout and atmosphere of the Corinthia invite you to relax. The Staff are generally very friendly and professional. The spa and gym open access is really one of the strengths of the hotel, very significant after a day of sightseeing. A true haven of vibrations of peace protected tourist in which to meet, to recharge!
Hotel Feature Tip : I really appreciated the charm of San Anton Gardens opposite the hotel and the proximity of Mdina.
