Good hotel in a good location

Hotel is at the best spot in Xlendi bay. We stayed in July and the beach by the hotel was crowded, but if you're able to walk a bit further, there are awesome spots with peace and quiet. It also seems to be child-friendly hotel, so we didn't always enjoy screaming kids at breakfast or kids at next room. Otherwise the staff was mostly helpful and the rooms fairly clean. Some of the rooms have balconies and views to the sea or to parking area. Some rooms are with windows and balconies to hotel lobby and some without balconies or views.

St Patrick's Hotel in Xlendi, Gozo
Charming old hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent location, right on the waterfront

Overall, I liked the feel of this hotel. It's got an old-fashioned Maltese courtyard and the colours and decor are warm. Staff were friendly. Can't beat the location, that's for sure. And you can eat your breakfast inside or outside, overlooking the little beach from the casual dining area. we have a 4yr old and could have a drink there while he played in the sand. Perfect. Our room was internal and din't overlook the courtyard or the water, so it was a little dark, but very cool and certainly spacious. Nothing overwhelming but lived up to expectations for the money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We hired bikes with a baby seat on the back from "on Two Wheels" and cycled around Gozo, using Xlendi as a base. Cheap bike hire and they drop them off and pick them up for nothing. This hotel can arrange it for you, but we did it ourselves. Gozo is the right size to get some good exercise without killing yourself! But there are a few hills to contend with, so you need to be relatively fit.
