Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

good location, friendly and helpful staff, free use of internet terminals
air condition system in room is turned on only in the summer
We got a very good price from agoda - $68 with breakfast!. This is a new hotel, located a short walking distance from the street sea front. Also a short walking distance to several famous restaurants, ferry terminal. Also easy to get around - there are several buses that go to Valetta and St Julian. Room is small but comfortable. Make sure you are not allocated a room with window facing inside the hotel - it can be very hot because the hotel only switches on aircon system in the summer!. Breakfast is plentiful, but the quality is so and so.
Shopping Tip : There is a supermarket outside the hotel. Buy your drinks and snakcs there as they cost only one fifth of the prices of those in the hotel room's minibar !.

This hotel is deliberately designed and built in such a way as to project modernism. From its architecture to its hi-tech installations, down to details like the music in the background in the lobby and restaurants, it is a place for people looking at the future. The atmosphere is particularly fitting for holiday makers to this scenic and historical Island.
Mainly the television in the room, if you are English-speaking. There are two channels, one (BBC Prime) has extremely poor transmission qualities and the other (CNN) keeps repeating the same program every hour which is in any case basically of narrow domestic interest to Americans. However, if you don't watch TV on holidays, this is perhaps irrelevant.
This hotel lives absolutely up to its five-star reputation and Agoda.com is able to secure most competitive rates which make it excellent value for money.
The hotel is located on top of a gentle slope about five minutes from the swinging waterfront of Sliema, where there are bus terminus connecting you to major touristy spots to the Island and ferries to Valleta the capital. There are hip-hop buses and water tours on the waterfront as well. Most convenient for tourists.
The slope poses a minor challenge for people who have difficulties with walking uphill on narrow roads particularly on a hot sunny day or when the weather is inclement. But this is only a short 5-minute walk in any case.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant/bar on the ground (reception) floor level is much more than it appears to be. Drinks aside, it serves much more than bar food. Watch out for the chef's recommendations on the blackboard every evening. Some of the dishes are most creative as well as delicious. The standard of food compares most favourably with the choices offered by the more casual eateries on the waterfront, if one is after some fine-dining after a long tiring day.
