Very good Monte Carlo hotel

The Fairmont provided a good stay in a genuinely magical principality. Service was mostly good, and the rate I had was unusually good. Room was spacious but not very new. Exclusive atmosphere, with property in the shadow of the famed casino and gardens, on the edge of the Mediterranean. The hotel has a thorough fitness center included (not 24 hours, however), with view. The biggest perk: a rooftop pool (come during open hours) with Monaco mountains and the sea as unbelievable surroundings. Great even in winter!
Travel tip:
Taxi from the Nice airport is exorbitant. Look into the shuttle bus schedule.

we had a fantastic stay. everything about the hotel is 5*, but be prepared to pay for it. pot of tea, ,small beer 9, orange juice 9. but just pay it,its worth the experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
fly the helicopter from nice- magnificent.

The fairmount hotel sits on the slowest corner of the F1 race directly looking over the Ocean, you have the option of a nice garden view or a great ocean view room. The rooms are good sized, clean and have a nice balcony that you can sit and watch the sun set over the ocean. Its less than a 10 minute walk to the bay or about 15 minutes to the beach. So not a bad location. I stayed here for 6 nights.

Fairmont Monaco stay in April 2010
I thought it was in an excellent location and the staff were very helpful, nothing was a trouble to them.

We stayed for one night in a city room view, which we chose because we felt the extra for a sea view was not warranted and when we saw both views we were more than happy with our choice. There was a lot of activity on the city side and it was much more interesting. We were on the 4th floor and had no problem with noise from the road, in fact we hardly heard any when the window was closed. We were just across the road from the Casino and Opera House, and not far from the Cafe de Paris. Our room was spacious and comfortable, larger than we expected plus it had a very large balcony with table and chairs plus a chaise lounge. The decor was blue, white and yellow and looked very clean and fresh. The bathroom had a large vanity, bath with shower over and separate toilet and bidet, all finished in marble. Everything was spotlessly clean and in as new condition. We arrived mid-morning and even though it was indicated that our room would not be available until mid afternoon, it was ready when we arrived around 11 am and so we went straight up, which we appreciated as we had spent the previous 16 days on a cruise. We had breakfast on the top floor overlooking the bay and it was included with our room. It was a full breakfast, fruit, cereals, cold cuts, lots of hot dishes and pastries. The Fairmont has a nice lobby area and shopping mall and casino.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is a little tram that goes around Monaco, but you have to get on and off in one place only, which is a considerable distance from the hotel. Also a double decker bus that takes you around the sights. If you don't have a car both of these are great ways of seeing the sights of Monaco

It is a nice hotal situated at a beautiful place.The price is really worth staying in the hotel.Service is good.Staff of tge hotel is very cooprative.Food provided is very good.The rooms are very spacious.THE CONFERENCE room is nice with excelent multimedia services.It was all nice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The mini train is the best way to explore Monaco.
