The hotel is very well located, 3 blocks from Centraal Station. The staff was efficient and nice. The room was big and it had a very good breakfast
The lights of the room were very low. The towels were old, needs to improve on that.
The hotel is very well located, 3 blocks from Centraal Station so it is not necessary to take a taxi on arrival.It is also very near Dam Square. There are many restaurants and pubs nearby, so it is very convenient for solo tourists.The relation value for money is very good. The breakfast was hearty.

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport the best and easiest way to get to the Avenue Hotel is to take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. In just a couple of minutes walk lies the Avenue Hotel, or take tram numbers 1, 2 or 5 and get out at the first stop 'Nieuwezijds Kolk' in front of the hotel.
