Pleasant with the exception of a serious leakage problem with the shower unit; half the bathroom gets flooded after each shower (no exaggeration). Small window is the biggest set back to an otherwise decent room. Can do with more lighting in the room. Good service at the front desk and great dutch pancake served during breakfast.

location was ok, but the rooms where very small, they where clean but old and felt dirty, bathroom was good though. this hotel is 3 star at best, not 4 star. staff where helpfull enough.
whould not stay here again, for the price better off renting an apartment.

Everything was in order when we arrived to Banks Mansion . It was our first time in Amsterdam. We were very impressed with how well organized and friendly the hotel staff are. The communal area for relaxing having refreshments is a fabulous idea and really enhanced our experience of Amsterdam. The use of the computers and Ipads is also a great service. The breakfast was truly delicious! Thank you I wish Canadian hotels would attempt this level of service.
