Located in the outer suburbs of Amsterdam, and convenient for the airport, this hotel offers comfortable accommodation and great value for money. The Bastion Hoofddorp Hotel in Amsterdam, part of the new and expanding Dutch Bastion group of hotels, is situated close to the ring road around Hoofddorp, only a few minutes’ drive from the Haarlem commercial district and the beach. Schiphol Airport is only a 15 minute drive away and the hotel provides a free shuttle bus every 30 minutes. The hotel has large, immaculately clean rooms with satellite TV, free video channels and free wireless internet access. The on-site restaurant serves excellent Dutch and international food, including a great breakfast buffet.

Airport shuttle
Room was comfortable and staff were helpful.
Menu was limited, contained a lot of fried food and not much fresh fruit or veg.
Airport shuttle operates every 30 minutes and is free of charge.
Free wifi in all rooms.
Not much in the bathroom.
Thanks to Agoda, the rate was very reasonable.

Nothing extraordinary. The usual airport hotel.
Far away from the city. You have to go to the airport and from there take the train to central station.
Although I did mention that I will be arriving late, they gave away the non-smoking room that I requested and ended up in a smoking room. Could not get a good sleep because of the smell. The staff was apologetic and also arranged for the shuttle in the morning.
