So easy to find, great clean room, beautiful location on the canal
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk everywhere! The hotel is centrally located meaning that no where is far, we just walked and walked and saw so much of the city

Simple hotel with the basics. Wifi in lobby, good location and transport. Close to dining and night life options. Pay for what you get

Great location but apartments are dirty and old
5.7
I had booked an apartment. When I saw it, I immediately asked to have a room. The floor and furniture have stains, the cleaning was not properly done, and everything is old. I now understand why there are no available pictures! They even didn't apologyse and I had to pay an extra fee of 20 euros to have a room in the 4* part of the hotel (no extra fee for a 3* bedroom though). The mattress was so crap that my back was killing me. They added a wooden board to make it harder. Internet and breakfast are way to expensive, respectively euros 15 per day and 17.50 without service charge.

Avoid this disaster!a blot on netherlands tourism
4.7
We booked this hotel in July 2012 for a room(Double bed) for sept 2012 as we were visiting amsterdam for our honeymoon. While this hotel is perfectly located in the most happening area, the staff is such a let down here.
The hotel is situated 2 mins away from a tram station which you can use to visit any part of Amsterdam.
We reached here to find Esther & another poker faced staff at the reception who checked us into a room which had two single beds(Room 244).When i spoke with them about my request,i was curtly told "Requests are not always promised".Only after i insisted on speaking with the night manager, did they offer to do something & offer us a double room next day(Room 309).
Its pretty unfortunate that companies spends money to create a brand & then have no quality check and hire staff which dont beelieve in even smiling at their guests.
Visit this place if you have an appetite for rude & unhelpful staff that can almost ruin your holiday.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you yet do book yourself here,do check all that they intend to charge you at the start.

Lovely Hotel and great location
A quiet location but still close to all amenities
8.3
Our second stay at the Eden Hotel. Staff ere excellent, very helpful and friendly. A fridge in the room would have been very useful. Also a jug to make our own tea/coffee after a hard days sightseeing.

Great location, friendly service
Very knowledgeable concierges, quiet rooms
8
the service was great, we arrived early and hoped just to leave our luggage and explore before coming back later to check in. even though we were 2 hours early for check in, the lovely lady at the desk advised us a room was available already. the room was quiet during the night, (traffic noise in the morning but this wasn't really a problem for us), clean and comfortable. the only negatives were that our double bed was 2 singles pushed together, and a gap formed during the night. also the bathroom door was a bit strange, frosted glass and it didn't lock, but it was around a corner from the rest of the room, so privacy wasn't an issue.
we spoke to 2 concierges, both really knowledgeable and very affable. they gave us some great tips.
Restaurant Tip:
A food hall called La Place, about 5 minute walk from the hotel. It was a little expensive, but had a fantastic selection of amazing food.

Awesome apartment with an incredible river view
The apartment itself with the terrace & the rooms
9.3
Had a fabulous stay at the Eden apartments and would want to stay there every time we go to Amsterdam next. The apartments have excellent river view of the Amstel and the bathroom and bedroom are very good. The terrace is the added bonus. We also cooked food in the kitchenette and treated it like our home for 5 days. Also the apartments are a minute away from the hustle bustle of Rembrandtplein and every other thing you need to see in the city is at a kilometers walk away.
Travel tip:
If you stay at the apartments, you could stock up the fridge and cook your own meals.

Nice location, nice rooms.... But just small rooms
7.3
I will return if I do come back to Amsterdam again
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I enjoyed my stay here, the location is quite strategic, the rooms were clean and the fittings were new. The concierge was helpful, the breakfast buffet was a tad bit expensive for the type of food provided. Loved the reception and decor of the lobby. I read in previous reviews there were noise in the rooms, I did not experience it.Eden should provide a kettle, in Asia all hotels and motels provide a kettle. It's not expensive so don't short change your guests

Great location but tiny rooms!
central location, excellent staff service
6
Aside from being near Rembrandt square, there really isnt much going for this hotel. Rooms were really tiny and our air-con broke down! But that turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we got upgraded to a room twice the size. The staff were extremely quick to respond to our complaint. We were in our new room within half an hour.
Sadly, if it werent for this turn of events, our stay would probably have been miserable in our cramped room with unclean sheets!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Go for a large room. the regular rooms are way too cramped.
