A modern and classy hotel with bright colors and a great location, the 239 rooms here is one of the best values in the city. Leisure travelers will be pleased with the hotel's close proximity to major tourist attractions such as Amsterdam Historical Museum and Anne Frank's House. Business travelers will be pleased with the nearby subway, location in the heart of the city, and the always free Wi-Fi internet. Location was excellent, staff was helpful and always professional, the hotel was clean with comfortable rooms, price was reasonable for the area.
Breakfast buffet was a little too expensive (20 Euros). I only ate there once; I suggest go out to find an independent establishment anyway.
I stayed at the Golden Tulip for 3 days and enjoyed my stay very much. Just outside of your hotel there are numerous pubs, cafes, and coffee shops. Dam Square is within 5 minutes walk, as is the Royal Palace. Red Light District is only 10 minute walk away. Lots to see and do all around this centrally located hotel. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again.
Nightlife Tip : If you want to see a good crowd of young adults Mon-Fri then go to Leidse Square. This is an area with pub crawls available and usually a lot of people every night of the week. Otherwise, most of the pubs will be relatively slow. On the weekends everything is busy in the city center.

Ideal location, not noisy at night.
Non somehow do not pull the 4 stars. Beds are not double and leaving. Weak water pressure in the tap.
The hotel is well located, to the Dam Square and walk 5 minutes. Near the entrance to the hotel a tram stop, the Argentine restaurant. Bemplatny wi fi, rather bystryy.Obstanovka in the room does not pull at 4 stars. Repairs are already doing that. The pressure in the shower is very weak. Cleaned daily, towels changed, too. Breakfast costs 15 euros. But it does not have to, in about 2 minutes from telya a snack bar, which can be on the same 15 euro select a greater variety of food. The hotel has an opportunity to leave things after chek out.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : In 5 minutes walk from Dam Square.

Lobby, rooms are kept clean all the bathrooms. Services are equipped with coffee and tea kettle. Walk in less than 10 minutes from Amsterdam Central Station, Dam Square and within walking.
Walk from Amsterdam Central Station is located near 10 minutes, I was kept very clean and nice hotel. There also several restaurants and souvenir shops near the hotel elevator and ride is not as high security room key. Room is a little narrow, but to the high level of cleanliness from the station and will not be a problem. The room can also make coffee and ramen with a kettle, so bring. Nearest The gift shop is also selling noodles.
