Heart of Amsterdam is a small and comfortable hotel in an exciting location on the edge of the famous Red Light district. The location is good for exploring the alternative side of Amsterdam, strolling the canal banks and is just a short walk from many of the main tourist attractions including the Royal Palace in Dam Square, Madame Tussauds and Beurs van Berlage. The hotel has just 28 rooms which ensures their cleanliness and guests can receive attentive personalized service from staff. Hip budget hotel in the heart of amsterdam

We stayed at the Heart of Amsterdam Hotel on the eve the Dutch's Queen's Day where the rates of all hotels and accommodation in Amsterdam are doubled or tripled. However, for the first hand experience of this year's historical day, we would say that the location of this 'hotel' was superb, being at the heart of the red light district where there was a lot of partying!

It was a hip and trendy hostel. This was my second hostel experience, I would say that I did not feel suffocated despite sharing the dorm with 11 other people. I could have certain level of privacy since the beds have adjoining cabinets, it's like a wall between you and your roomie. I have no regrets staying here.
