The hotel can be reached within a few minutes of walking from the airport. The room is well equipped. The airport shopping area is great with a good connection with public transport.

We had a 5 hour layover and decided to get a hotel room so we could get some rest before our next 11 hour flight. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the airport, with most of it under cover. The check in and check out was quick and painless. A little disappointed about the room. It was dark, musty, stuffy and in need for a make over.

Good for a transit stay

we needed to spend a night at a schipol hotel as we had an early flight. we arrived at 11.30pm and walked over to the hilton. unlike the other hotel that is accessed by the bridge, the hilton is about 15-20 min away and there is no direct access from the bridge, you need to walk in the open to reach the hotel, which is not pleasant when its cold or wet. there is a shuttle service between the hotel and terminal. the rooms are are clean, straight from the 80s and in desperate need of a makeover. adequate if you just need a bed for the night.

A good hotel close to the airport.
You can walk to the parking area and take the elevator from there to the aiport area. Approximately 12 minutes covered walking or by rollators.
The hotel provides also a free shuttle bus which takes 5 minutes to the departure area at the airport.
The breakfast area you will find in the hotel lobby where you can take a good buffet.
The standaard twinroom was fine but not very modern and new.
Travel tip:
If you have time visit Amsterdam the recent renovated Rijks museum ( rembrand) .It took 10 years of renovation and is very modern.

Convenient and simple

I had an overnight transfer at Schiphol and we wanted a nice hotel near the airport. Though you have to walk outside for 1 or 2 minutes it was still pleasant to arrive there by just walking. Room was clean and big enough for the 2 of us. Everything was working just fine with complimentary tea etc. After a good night sleep we were ready for the next part of our trip.

had a 20h layover in amsterdam and stayed at the hilton airport. great location to drop off luggage and take the train to amsterdam centraal. the staff was very helpful in providing a list of things to see and do along with eating establishments. would definitely recommend the hilton and would stay there again.
