Nice hotel room in short distance to city center

The stay was nice with tram connection to the city 300 m away. The price value is good but not acceptable are day for a parking place in front of the hotel.
Shopping Tip:
Leidestraat is a must for Amsterdam visitors for shopping.

Other than the distance to city center, there isn't anything to complain about. Service is good, room is big, area is nice and etc. Staffs are eager to help and do it with a smile.

Staffs are helpful, room is big and clean and a proper business hotel. The only drawback is the distance from city center (10-15 mins by taxi). Other than that, it is a lovely hotel

We literally lived in the Hilton 4 nights a week during 3 months back in 2000. So when we were invited by friends for Thanksgiving and they offered to look after the kids for a night, we didn't hesitate to 'go back home'. Even after 12 years, the hotel is just as cozy as it was back then. Even for such a large property, it feels intimate. The room was just as we remembered it, not large, but for two just fine. We had a nightcap in the lounge, in front of the blazing fireplace. The breakfast buffet perfect, service (coffee, juice brought by the staff) attentive.
Shopping Tip:
The Beethovenstraat has lovely shops where you can find anything you're looking for. And the cheese shop will shrink-wrap for travel.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location

Staff was very helpful. On arrival they provided us the city map and explained the locations of city attractions and transport modes available.
Restaurant is vell organised and the food is okay. Nice garden and private yatch facility.
