Great location but small rooms

I dont now what to say about that hotel is an old restaureted bulding whit tiny rooms .
I deed like bed it was werry comfterble and bathrom was werry functinal.
In all to all its ok for 1 night stay but i wood not chous that hotel for longer stay.

very friendly staff, steif is an excellent guy and is very good guide to find restaurants nearby
the rooms with canal view are excellent but some are quite small
i would love to stay there again
in terms of amsterdam excellent option for a good price

The hotel was lovely, although the room was a little small. I was a single, so it was fine for me, but my room would not have accommodated a couple. The hotel decor was very nice and the extras - coffee/tea etc was an unexpected addition. The fridge was topped up with bottled water every evening which was also a plus.
The location of the hotel was perfect.. close to amenities and everything within walking distance.
The hotel staff were also very helpful.

Nice roomy,airy reception area.
Fine room,nicely appointed,ample toiletries etc.
Bathroom spacious, only complaint was the separate toilet was a bit on the small side.
Travel tip:
Etherea is ideally positioned, central yet on quiet canal.
Resistance museum well worth a visit.
Get a 1 hour canal trip for 8.5 euro.

we stay there for 5 days, it was a lovely stay. we book for 3 rooms, but the hotel only received 2 rooms reservation, therefore at the first night we have to squeeze in to 2 rooms. to compensate us the hotel give us free breakfast and wifi.
my children love the small library and the collection of the board game. the free choco and snacks are awesome way to pamper the guest. we definitely will come back again to hotel estherea if we visit amsterdam.

A great coffee machine in the lobby free to use throughout the day and easy to walk to the city centre

We had four rooms for four nights and all we happy with the rooms and the size of the accommodation. The rooms were air conditioned and each styled individually. We did not have breakfast as there were great places to eat around the area and an excellent bakery just around the corner. The hotel arranged for off site collection parking and return of our car for 30 euros per day which worked well.
Restaurant Tip:
Lots of great Steak houses and of course pancakes ask at reception.
