Manofa Hotel Amsterdam Info
Far above normal standards for a one star hotel, Manofa Hotel is a hidden gem with a great location and affordable rates. The setting is extremely convenient, cutting down on wasted travelling time and money, as most attractions and Central station are all within two to three minutes walking distance. The immediate streets are also great for nightlife and entertainment, and staff are very helpful in recommending bars and restaurants. Rooms are available with up to six beds, and are all spacious and furnished in crisp whites and splashes of color, and above average touches including wardrobe and TV.

Convenient location close to Central Station (only 5 minutes walk)
Very noisy at night and early morning as Hotel overlooks main shopping road. Night time general noise and very early morning cleaning trucks etc.
Situated in a very convenient location less than 5 minutes walk from Central Station. Near Dam Square and the red light district. There is no lift and the single rooms are very small. There is a small shower which is a plus but the TV was very limited in English speaking channels. The price was reasonable as I have stayed in similar priced hotels with similar size rooms which have cost the same but have been less central. Check-in is not until 2pm which is not ideal for a weekend visit. However, you can pre check-in and leave your bags in reception. My electronic room key did not work at one stage and the hotel computer was 'down' so they were unable to reset the key. They made me go and find the cleaning attendant who had a pass key rather than offering to find her for me. Staff were pretty much disinterested. I'm in two minds whether to stay at this hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel very close to many bars and restaurants and only a minute away from the red light district and coffee shops.

Convenient location to move. Relatively near the central station, the tram also susceptible.
They're useful in terms of security concerns. Many facilities are old and broken. Narrow room, nor hygienic.
Travel was so sudden, without much study, I decided only by location and price. Well as in many other reviewers, I think this hotel is quite a problem. Tsuriatsu that does not honor the price.
