NH Museum Quarter Hotel Amsterdam Info
Located in the museum quarter and close to the Leidseplein and Vondelpark, this stylish hotel built in 2001 offers luxurious accommodation and excellent transport links. The NH Museum Quarter Hotel in Amsterdam is within easy walking distance of the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum, and the Van Gogh Museum. The nearest tram stop is right in front of the hotel and the tram journey to the central railway station takes 20 minutes. The hotel has large rooms decorated in contemporary European style, modern bathrooms, satellite TV and wireless internet access. The Palette restaurant serves excellent Dutch and international cuisine, and the hotel also has a gym and an outdoor terrace.

The best thing about this hotel was it's location; near to the centre yet quietly situated. The only con was the cost of the breakfast...although very good, certainly not worth the cost of a substantial evening meal! I found the hotel situated on a quiet canal close to Museumplein, easily accessible by either tram or canal taxi. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room very clean and spacious. I would certainly recommend this hotel, if booked at a reasonable cost through Agoda, to anyone who wanted to relax and yet be close to the action.
Restaurant Tip : Alberto's near Leidesplein...excellent steaks, cooked to perfection!!!
