Good Value for Money

I had read someone else's report and was led to believe that the hotel had a shuttle to airport AND town, but found out that it was only to the airport and then a we had to take a train to the city. This turned out to be good as parking downtown (6 EUROS per hour) was almost the cost of the return train ticket - 8 EUROS. Otherwise enjoyed walking through the village of Badhoevedorp, where there is an excellent delicatessen (Dennis') and a great supermarket.

Access to airport; value for money; quality of room.

Easy access to airport as well as city via train from airport (Hotel shuttle to airport) - cheaper than parking in Amsterdam. Great little village shopping centre within walking distance. Gym unfortunately not on site and charged for.

Good for a one night stay between flights. Standard hotel, nothing special but also nothing to complain about. Like that there's a grocery store just down the street. Have stayed here before and will stay again.

Nice hotel but remote location

Booked this hotel because the price was really attractive. Hotel itself is nice but the location is way too far from the city centre. We spent so much time on waiting for the shuttle bus to the airport and travelling from and to city centre everyday. It would be great if you're doing a transit in Schiphol Airport or you wanna enjoy a quiet relaxing holiday.
p.s. Note very carefully about the shuttle bus schedule because the info posted on the board in Schiphol Airport is different from the one given by Novotel. And it actually shares the shuttle bus with other hotels so you must follow the one provided by your chosen hotel. We missed the last shuttle bus (the one provided by Novotel said it's 23:45 but we saw 01:15 on board so we thought it's ok) but the bus driver was so nice to drive us to Novotel which she said she's not supposed to do so. Really thank her so much for this favor! There's another male bus driver which is also friendly!
