I arrived at early morning and they let me check in when there is free room! I can take a bath and short rest before the day start! It was perfect! The room is quite spacious too!

i stayed at the victoria crown plaza for a total of five day including new years. i have to say i was highly pleased by the help i received from the staff. i was traveling alone but had no problems of getting to the main sites as the staff was helpful to give directions and make reservations. the hotel itself located in the center of all the action, the red light district is only about a ten mins walk. there are many shopping spots and restaurants nearby. i highly recommend this hotel from someone traveling alone or couples.

A nice hotel in a super location
Large, high standard rooms in a hotel in the very heart of Amsterdam

I was very pleased with my stay at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel in Amsterdam. On the outside, it says Victoria Hotel only, so when I entered I wanted to make sure I had arrived at the right hotel. The staff was nice and friendly and the room was of high standard with a large double bed, a desk + chair and an arm chair with a table. It was clean and of high standard. I did not utilize the opportunity to have breakfast at the hotel, but the restaurant looked attractive. The location is the best possible, at the main street "Damrak", only a 5-minute-long walk from the Central Railway Station, which you reach from the Schiphol Airport by train in about 15 minutes. At the Damrak, you have lots and lots of stores and restaurants.It takes only 10-15 minutes to walk to the Red Light District, if you are curious...
Restaurant Tip:
I am happy to recommend the South American restaurant "Los Toros" only a few steps away on the Damrak. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are decent. No fancy place but nice!

Great location for seeing most places

It is an ideal location and the Hotel is apposite from the station only 5 minutes walk. You are next to the Buses and Trams for visiting places. The canal cruises are also across from the Hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The night time canal cruise is worth doing. If it is a couple together you can book the meal and drinks cruise which is a nice change

The location is very convenience across the station, easy to find food and shops but I don't like the room. The space between my bed and the toilet only a space to walk which is hardly for me to bring my luggage across my bed since the room already small and cramp so at the end I only put my luggage before my bed and inconvenience for me to walk around in the room of the space.
When I got into the room, I still found a towel hang behind the door that has been used.

i had a wonderful time at the park plaza victoria amsterdam hotel. although it took some time for my room to be ready, the wait was worth the while as i was treated to a lovely view. the location is unbeatable, being a mere short stroll from amsterdam centraal. the room is nice size, clean and comfortable although i would have liked to have windows that could open fully. the wire mesh also disrupted my view a tad. having said that, the service is impeccable and i would recommend this hotel to others in a heartbeat.

I can not speak highly enough of this hotel, a truly wonderful stay. The Location is perfect, the room was super comfortable with 4 extremely comfortable pillows provided, a quiet atmosphere and all the amenities one could want. The staff were very good, even though i had booked the cheapest room without breakfast they provided me with free internet and gave me access to the coffee machine in the restarant without charge.
Travel tip:
This hotel is great for all types of experiences, shopping, dining, sightseeing etc...
