I arrived at early morning and they let me check in when there is free room! I can take a bath and short rest before the day start! It was perfect! The room is quite spacious too!

i stayed at the victoria crown plaza for a total of five day including new years. i have to say i was highly pleased by the help i received from the staff. i was traveling alone but had no problems of getting to the main sites as the staff was helpful to give directions and make reservations. the hotel itself located in the center of all the action, the red light district is only about a ten mins walk. there are many shopping spots and restaurants nearby. i highly recommend this hotel from someone traveling alone or couples.

This is a good hotel, in a prime location.
The rooms are very clean and well eqipped.
Furnishings are nice, and typical European size for a room.
Check-in was made easy, by good and efficient service.
This is definitely a hotel to consider when visiting amsterdam!!

Just opposite to the train station and water canal station.

Location was very good. Just walking distance to shopping and the red light district.
Hotel very nice from the outside but room very small and very basic. Bathroom was tiny, bed small, wardroom also very small. Too basic for the price we paid.
I enjoyed the breakfast.

A nice hotel in a super location
Large, high standard rooms in a hotel in the very heart of Amsterdam

I was very pleased with my stay at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel in Amsterdam. On the outside, it says Victoria Hotel only, so when I entered I wanted to make sure I had arrived at the right hotel. The staff was nice and friendly and the room was of high standard with a large double bed, a desk + chair and an arm chair with a table. It was clean and of high standard. I did not utilize the opportunity to have breakfast at the hotel, but the restaurant looked attractive. The location is the best possible, at the main street "Damrak", only a 5-minute-long walk from the Central Railway Station, which you reach from the Schiphol Airport by train in about 15 minutes. At the Damrak, you have lots and lots of stores and restaurants.It takes only 10-15 minutes to walk to the Red Light District, if you are curious...
Restaurant Tip:
I am happy to recommend the South American restaurant "Los Toros" only a few steps away on the Damrak. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are decent. No fancy place but nice!
